Dark Boy (a poem)

Dark Boy
Written September 14th, 2011
Dark boy
Lurking in the shadows
With glowing mischief eyes
Creeping up on me

Dark boy
You speak with a voice
Inviting and deep
That fills my bones

Dark boy
You smile like an imp
Lopsided and alluring
That pulls my gravity

Dark boy
You laugh with fire
Crackling with warm temptation
That glows on my skin

Dark boy
Changing like the tide
Undulating and twisting
As you find yourself

Dark boy
Creature of night
Though I am a being of light
We are like the moon and sun
Each chasing the other one

Dark boy
Go away
You’re irrational, improper
Impulsive and wild
Don’t smile at me that way
Just go away

Dark boy
Lurking in the shadows
With glowing mischief eyes
Creeping up on me

Dark boy,
I hope you stay

  1. "You laugh with fire
    Crackling with warm temptation
That glows on my skin" = favorite line.

Is it just me or does it seem like you love love love flaws in people? I love flaws.
